Acxiom Signs Agreement to Acquire LiveRamp

Today we announced an agreement to be acquired by Acxiom for $310 million. Acxiom has been a close partner of LiveRamp’s and we are really excited that we will be joining their team. This will give us the ability to drive faster adoption of data onboarding and deliver even greater value to our customers and partners.

Here are a few things you can expect to see as LiveRamp and Acxiom join forces:

OUR MISSION WILL STAY THE SAME

LiveRamp will maintain a laser focus on the same goals we’ve always had:

Make marketers more successful by connecting data across digital marketing applications.
Make every marketing application more valuable by providing access to more customer data.

Acxiom is committed to keeping LiveRamp a neutral, open service provider that serves every part of the digital marketing ecosystem. We will continue to support and grow our large partner network. By making it easy for customer data to flow across systems, LiveRamp and Acxiom will work together to drive adoption of the applications and services delivered by our partners.

WE WILL HAVE MORE RESOURCES TO SERVE YOU BETTER

Double Down on Partners - Today we onboard and connect data across nearly 100 marketing applications, helping the world’s leading brands use their data to run more efficient, personalized marketing campaigns. We’re proud of this achievement, but we’re only just getting started. We want to work with every marketing application in the world.

International Expansion - Many of our customers and partners have been urging us to expand into international markets. Acxiom brings a wealth of resources, global infrastructure, and international security expertise that will help us bring data onboarding to more parts of the world in a much shorter time frame.

WHAT ELSE WILL WE SEE AS A RESULT OF THE MERGER?

LiveRamp will benefit from Acxiom’s vast resources, which will help us achieve higher match rates, faster turnaround times, and the ability to rapidly introduce data onboarding to thousands of Acxiom customers.

We will also benefit from the fabulous team that CEO Scott Howe has put together. We are looking forward to working closely with the great people at Acxiom.

WE WILL STAY TRUE TO WHO WE ARE

LiveRamp will remain a neutral, open service provider. We will continue to work with every marketing application, agency, CRM manager, data provider, and VAR to help marketers connect data across every digital marketing application.

Our customers, partners, and employees mean everything to us. I look forward to working with you closely in the years ahead.

Sincerely,

Auren Hoffman
