James Arra Joins LiveRamp as Vice President of Sales

jamesarraSAN FRANCISCO, CA - February 7, 2013 - LiveRamp, the leading data onboarder, announced today that James Arra has been appointed Vice President of Sales at LiveRamp.  James Arra, who previously led sales at TRUSTe, brings over 20 years of experience in high tech sales.

James Arra’s experience and leadership will help LiveRamp grow the market for onboarding offline data,” said LiveRamp CEO, Auren Hoffman.  “James has a unique combination of industry expertise and proven success at accelerating revenue growth for high tech, pre-IPO companies.”

Prior to TRUSTe, James worked at Vontu (acquired by Symantec) where he led a team that  grew Vontu’s SMB business more than 300% over a two-year period.  James also led FreeMarkets as a VP and General Manager where he helped grow the company from $16M to more than $180M in revenue.  At LiveRamp, James will build out a direct sales team and drive the expansion of the data onboarding market.

James received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Quantitative Economics and Decision Theory from University of California San Diego.
